Congratulations to Brynnlee Pettigrew, 3rd grade student at Jack Elementary School, for being named the District Elementary Student of the Month for February.

Brynnlee is an example of a student that is striving to leave a legacy of success, exhibiting many qualities that show she is a true Jack Patriot. She was recently awarded a Habit Hero for outstanding citizenship and for showing compassion for another student who was struggling to complete an assignment.

Brynnlee often demonstrates Habit 1, Be Proactive, by trying her best at everything she does, following directions, and doing the right thing when no one is watching.

The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by:

Students are nominated by their teachers and/or school principal and are recognized for their excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus and community involvement.  These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
