Tyler High School - Serving a Legion of Lions!

Tyler High Physic classes learned about Newton's 2nd Law of Physics: force is equal to the product of an object and its acceleration. Students got to experiment with this law in labs this week. 🦁💙

Tyler High Spanish classes celebrated Dia de los Muertos: protector de Altar by creating ofrendas. Dr. Zavala and her classes created a large ofrenda in the Tyler High hallways. 🦁💙

Even with all the Red Ribbon Week fun, students are still learning great things in their classes. Chemistry classes were learning about conductivity in their labs this week 🦁💙⚡️🔋

THS Biology students from Mr. Pablo's classes, who ranked first in each of the classes for the 1st 9 weeks, were awarded with a certificate and a parent-teacher conference to personally congratulate both the students and the parents for a job well done!!!! Mr. Pablo believes that taking time to recognize our students’ efforts and engage their parents helps build stronger relationships and encourages our learners to stay motivated and guided in their studies. 33 talented Tyler High Choir students collaborated with the Moore Middle School Choir for a powerful performance of the National Anthem at the Moore Homecoming Pep Rally. Their voices came together beautifully, showcasing the unity and spirit of our Tyler ISD music programs! 💙🦁🐎🎶

Tyler High Cross Country competed at Regionals this morning 🦁💙🏃‍♀️🏃🏻 AMY VAZQUEZ QUALIFIES FOR STATE! She took fourth individually, finishing with a time of 18:42. The boys team also finished in 15th place overall!

Today several Senior students at Tyler High were joined with Superintendent Marty Crawford in the first session of the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council.
