Elysse Arteaga, Jeremiah Ford, A'Mari Williams, and Tyler Callow, these 4 seniors spent yesterday at SFA, touring the Fine Arts Department, seeing The Three Musketeers, and auditioning for the school of Theatre and Dance. They prepared monologues, songs, portfolios, and resumes to present to Director of Theatre in hopes of gaining admission.

The Lighting Thief, THS Theatre's first ever musicalβ‘οΈπβ¨π‘οΈ

On Saturday, November 2, the cast of Tyler High's The Lightning Thief were able to join a private Zoom meeting with Rob Rokicki, the Lyricist and Composer of the musical. Rob spoke with the students, answering their questions about the show and the business of theatre, reminding them to invest in their art and their communities. After the call, the cast closed their four-show run of the first musical to be performed in the Dr. Martian L. Edward's Theatre.




Our Tyler High Brigadettes are traveling to Haltom today to participate in the historic TDEA Fall Field Assessment. This assessment is a pilot for future UIL drill team competitions. They will be competing with 50 teams today. 150 teams across the state are participating in thisΒ Β exciting event.ππ¦

Friday the Criminal Justice Club made lunch for the students and teachers as their fundraiser. Lots of fun was had and lots of funds were raised. Thanks for the support of the club. π¦π°πΏ









This week at Tyler High has been great! The students and teachers have been doing amazing things such as students helping out at the East Texas Food Bank and Cicis Pizza, and amazing Geometry lessons in Mr. Sapko's class. History classes were visited by Flappers from the 1920s as well as 200 students that went to the stock market challenge. So Much Greatness!!!!!
