Step back in time with our Gilded Age Workshop Experience! 🏭
Students in Wilhite, Stokes, Clark, and Woodward’s classes got a hands-on opportunity to experience what life was like for workers during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Working in a dark, crowded environment, students were given only a few minutes to complete a backbreaking amount of work while their teachers took on the roles of foremen and managers—pushing them to work faster, avoid wasting time and materials, and meet demanding production goals.
This immersive experience gave our students a glimpse into the challenging working conditions many people faced during the Gilded Age and helped bring history to life in a memorable way! 📚🏭
