🎭🛠️ Learning by Doing in Theatre Tech!
Last week, our Tyler High Theatre Tech students put their safety knowledge into action with student-led tool demonstrations!
Students who had previously been trained on the tools stepped into leadership roles and taught their classmates how to use them properly and safely. What a great way to build hands-on skills, confidence, teamwork, and leadership! 👏
And while you’re checking out their hard work, take a look at the progress they’ve made on the Yellow Brick Road! 🧱💛🌈 We can’t wait to see the finished product!
Great work, Lions! 🦁💙🤍

🎨✨ Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month through ART! ✨🎨
Ms. Duncan’s Art 1 PAP students kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month by creating beautiful Kinusaiga compositions! 🧵🌈 Students explored this traditional Japanese-inspired textile art technique by selecting a Hispanic-themed picture and recreating it with colorful fabric tucked into carefully carved grooves on a board. Each student created a vibrant, one-of-a-kind design celebrating Hispanic culture and heritage.
We love seeing our Lions learning, creating, and bringing their artistic visions to life! 🦁💙 Keep up the awesome work, Lions! 🎨👏
