Tuesday night, the UIL One Act Play, The Giver, was showcased in the THS Auditorium. The students competed before Spring Break and then presented the play before an audience of friends, family, and community members. If you were not able to witness this amazing play, you missed out on an amazing performance! #THSStudentMade
Tonight's Tyler High Men's Soccer game began with the recognition of their two seniors; Ariel Alfaro and Henry Monsivais. Thank you gentlemen for the leadership, dedication, and heart you've given to our team. Go make great things happen!
And to cap the night off, the Lions defeat Texas High 5-1!

March 7, 2024, is Big Art Day across the state of Texas. It is an attempt by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) to engage all art educators, their students, and communities in a single-day art event. THS students created over 1000 origami pieces to show the connection between math and art. WAY TO GO!! #THSStudentMade
In preparation for Big Art Day, THS art students worked hard to complete over 1000 origami flowers, animals, and insects for their connection between art and maths.

Saturday, March 2, the THS JROTC celebrated the year with their Military Ball! The seniors were presented with their graduation stoles, Mr and Miss JROTC were crowned, guest speaker, Mr Venters spoke and then the night was danced away with lots of fun to be had. Congratulations for the year! Here's to next year!

On Tuesday, Feb 20, 31 girls from Tyler High attended the first annual Girls Lunch and Learn. Discussions about Science, Math, and STEM jobs were had. Empowering girls to believe in themselves; self-love; Be-Yourself and build self-esteem! Cherie Jones shared her college experience and career information with the careers in architecture and construction science!
