Tyler ISD is excited to introduce a new and powerful opportunity for juniors in the Class of 2027: the VU Scholarships Program, in partnership with VU Scholarships.
This program allows students to see real scholarship opportunities based on their academic performance before senior year. Instead of waiting until after applying to colleges, students can get an early look at what may already be available to them.

What This Means for Students
• See potential scholarship opportunities now as a junior
• Gain a clearer understanding of what colleges may offer
• Begin planning for the future earlier with real information
• Connect current academic performance to real opportunities

For many students and families, this will be the first time seeing personalized scholarship matches this early, making this a unique and valuable experience.

If consent is not submitted by the deadline, the student will not be included in the program.
This is a great opportunity for students to begin exploring what is possible after high school and take an important step toward planning for college and scholarships.

On Friday, we celebrated our 18+ Signing Day! 🎉 This special event gives our 18+ students the opportunity to connect with community sponsors, explore job opportunities, and take meaningful steps toward transitioning into the workforce. We’re so proud of you guys!

Tyler Rotary Young Citizens Club honored two seniors! Tyler High is so proud of Tristen Taylor and Aamiyah Warren! Congrats guys! 💙 Along with these two seniors Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Gomez was honored by Rotary Club.

Today Ms. Baldwin’s Foundations of Career Prep & Senior Seminar students had a valuable real-world learning experience! A guest speaker presented information about our local public transportation services, followed by a mock bus ride.

The Tyler High girls golf team competed in the District Golf Tounament in Gladewater on Monday! Day 2 will take place on Thursday! Let's Go Girls!

Mr Vowell's Architecture and Manufacturing classes are using their practical hands on skills they have learned this year to build a shelf for their family. They are utilizing carpentry, welding and design skills for their finished product.  Let's celebrate this achievement in their chosen career pathway.
