THS Powerlifting had the opportunity to attend state this past week!
Tristen Taylor finished in the top 20 out of 45 lifters in 275 lbs. Class with an attempt to break the state meet record with a lift attempt of 745lbs in dead lift. Even though the ends were not what we hoped we are extremely proud of you Tristan!!!!!

Tyler High Theatre had a great day competing at the District One Act Play contest held at Hallsville on March 18th. We brought home the following awards: Tech Honor Crew - Sydney Hale, Honorable Ment ion All Star Cast - Kymani Sanders, All Star Cast - Tyler Callow. As a cast/crew we received 4th place/Alternate. We are so proud of the growth of our program and can't wait to see what they do next! Go Lions π¦ ππ

Tyler High Theatre is excited to be advancing to the next round of One Act Play competition on March 18. Sending Down the Sparrows won 3rd place at Zone 2, with Tyler Callow and Elysse Arteaga each winning All Star Cast, Kymani Sanders winning Honorable Mention All Star Cast, and Violet Ross winning Best Tech. Directors Summer Hayward and Juli Flores are so excited to be able to keep telling this story with their students!

Wednesday, March 12, 2025, was declared βTyler High Future Business Leaders of America Dayβ by the Honorable Mayor Don Warren (City of Tyler) while the Proclamation was read by Dr. Shirley McKellar, Mayor Pro Tem and City Councilwoman (District 3) during FBLAβs Special Meeting while aslo presenting the club the key to the city as the Champion Chapter.
Lesley Rodriguez, Tyler High Graduate (Class of 2024), TJC Nursing Student, and Entrepreneur was featured in an βFBLA Alumni Spotlightβ where she spoke to her former peers and THSβ Administrators about belief system and the power of having a positive mindset!




Congratulations to Tyler High students, Arely Hernandez, Johnathan Hernandez, and Salvador Montes from Coach Guthrie's class. THey received their certification for the NOCTI Program.
