Teacher of the Month: Mr. Felipe Muncada teaches Algebra I and is a wiz with his content knowledge. Mr. Muncada has several aptitudes that make him a great teacher. Primarily, he is passionate about his students' success in Algebra. He can plan lessons that will engage students, often using friendly competition and games to encourage students to grow and perfect their skills. Finally, he always has a cordial attitude, and his students know that they can depend on him for support. His good relationships with students help him to connect with them as he teaches mathematics.
Admin/Support Staff of the Month: Sara Renney is the secretary to our principal Mr. Lane but she serves all of us. She is pleasant every morning greeting our substitutes and teachers with a smile under her mask. You can see it in her eyes! She ensures that all classes our covered when teachers are absent or when coaches need to leave early with their team. She works very well with the office ladies to have a team to make Tyler High School the best place for all students. Sara is new to Tyler High School this year and we are proud of the way she has come in and quickly become a vital part of our school. Go Mrs. Sara Renney!
