Hey Gators! Follow us this summer to keep up with the happenings in the swamp. We will post new hires, save the dates, and so much more! Help us officially welcome Tomas Vences to the swamp! He was a student teacher this spring and helped coach our boys in soccer. Mr. V will join the 8th grade social studies team next year. Here is a little about Mr. V:
Where are you from? I was born in Mexico City, and moved to America when I was 15 years old.
Family? I grew up with a single mom and two brothers. I'm now married to my wife Karina.
Hobbies? My hobbies are cooking, reading, playing soccer, enjoying outdoor activities as well as traveling when I can.
Experience in education? I have spent three semesters as a student teacher working with middle school and high school students.
Favorite middle school memory? My favorite middle school memory was attending my first soccer match during my 7th grade school year.
Anything else? I am very excited for this new adventure as a middle school social studies teacher.

They say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." What a fun group to work with every day! Apparently Sherman look alike getup is a bright dress, cool kicks and a high pony! *also highly caffeinated*

Field day shenanigans with these cool 8th graders! #orangethunder

Field day fun! β€οΈ

Enjoying these last few days with our 8th gradersπ

8th grade Gators are out for the win!

All smiles out here today!! π

It may be hot, but our 6th graders are loving field day! We even had Mrs. Sherman and Ms. Arrington compete in the obstacle course! π

Thankful for this group and so many more not pictured that made our first Field Day at TLMS a reality! It took a lot of planning and teamwork, but the kids reactions and faces so far make it all worth it. Proud to be finishing out a great year at the swamp with the best students, staff and families! π π

Our 7th graders are having a blast at our first gator field dayπ

π Mr. Kisamore is fueling his team with homemade French Toast for breakfast before field day! They are in it to win it! π

Rise and shine βοΈ it's Field Day time! Let's go πͺ π

Yesterday, our 8th graders danced their way to the 8th grade award ceremony.

Three Lakes Boys Soccer Team had a great season! We are so proud of our Gators!

Ms. Porter's and Ms. Labeau's classes are spending some time together doing some fun games!

Miss Arrington's sixth graders had their Gator Trade Day today! For the past 2 weeks, students have been working on this project! They had to create a business, complete a business proposal within budget, keep a balance of their "Miss A Money" deposits/withdrawals, practice writing checks, shoot/edit a commercial, create a billboard, and make their product. Today, they got to spend their "money" and shop the booths! It was so fun to see their creativity while learning personal financial literacy skills!

What a great night! πΆ π π

Congratulations to new PTA lifetime membership award recipients Elicia Eckert and Mr. Ketcham! PTA appreciates you both and all you continue to do for public education! π π

These girls are not puzzled by the systems of the human body after passing 7th grade science! Only a few days left of the 22-23 school year!
