Our 8th grade RLA students wrapped up their unit on Frederick Douglass with a birthday celebration! π₯³
Douglass chose to celebrate his birthday on Valentineβs Day, making it the perfect time to honor his life and legacy. The day was filled with reading, writing, creating, and, of course, eating as students took time to celebrate this American hero and his powerful impact on history. π
