Thank you to all who participated in our September World Cup Challenge! It's finally October, and it's time to announce our new World Cup challenge this month...Storybook Character Pumpkin Decorating! 🎃
Choose a character from your favorite storybook and decorate an artificial pumpkin based on that character! Bring your completed pumpkin to the Ramey library by October 24th to be displayed on the shelves for judging the following week.
🥇 Winners from each grade level will be announced October 31st and they will receive a prize! All pumpkins must be picked up to go home on October 31st. Pumpkins left in the library after this date will be disposed of.
If you would like to participate, please complete the following information and return with your pumpkin to the library:

We are excited to announce the 35th Annual Pantry Raid, a cherished tradition where we come together to support our community and fight the battle against hunger. This year’s event is set to be more impactful than ever, and we need your help to make it a success!
Event Details:
Objective: Collect as many non-perishable food items as possible to support the East Texas Foodbank
Date: Now - September 5th
Special Incentive: The class that donates the most cans will earn the exclusive opportunity to run out onto the field with the Tyler High Lions during their game against Cleburne on October 10th!
This is a fantastic opportunity to engage students in a meaningful way while promoting community spirit. Let’s work together to make a significant impact and show our Lions pride!

Did you know that a marigold is one of the best companion plants to use in a garden? 🌸 It protects a wide variety of plants from pests and harmful weeds. If you plant a marigold beside most any garden vegetable, that vegetable will grow big and strong and healthy, protected and encouraged by its marigold.
This morning, Ramey teachers were encouraged to be "marigolds" . They built bouquets of flowers to brighten their classrooms for Meet the Teacher this evening as a reminder to encourage, support, and nurture others around them. We are so thankful to have a campus full of "marigolds" and we are looking forward to a wonderful year of growth ahead!
