The Junior League of Tyler is collecting books for Tyler ISD’s new Literacy Bus that will be coming to a neighborhood near you this summer!
The Literacy Bus is an interactive bus that will travel to neighborhoods throughout the Tyler ISD community. The bus will provide access to high-quality books and resources for our community’s youngest learners.
Want to get involved? Community members can donate new or like-new books for preschool and elementary-age children through April 30 by dropping off donations at one of these locations throughout the community:
• Brookshire’s (Bergfeld Center), 2020 Roseland Boulevard;
• Brookshire’s, 100 Rice Road;
• FRESH by Brookshire’s, 6991 Old Jacksonville Hwy;
• Hollytree Country Club, 6700 Hollytree Drive;
• Junior League of Tyler Inc., 1919 South Donnybrook Avenue;
• Meals on Wheels East Texas, 3001 Robertson Road;
• The University of Texas at Tyler Herrington Patriot Center, 3900 University Boulevard (off Old Omen Rd.);
• Tyler ISD Administration Building, 1319 Earl Campbell Parkway;
• Tyler Junior College Vaughn Library, 1327 South Baxter Avenue;
• Tyler Public Library, 201 South College Avenue.

We are excited for you to experience Pathfinder Online from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on January 9, 2021! When attending, you will visit virtual campus booth pages, as well as meet principals and staff of our choice schools. Doing so will send a push notification to your phone or computer reminding you to join the online event!
