Updates from the UIL Academic Meet:
Kawsar Yasin placed 2nd place in persuasive speaking and qualified for state!
Colten Edelman placed 4th in informative speaking and is an alternate to state!
Steven young place 1st in poetry and is a state qualifier!
Sanay Salvi placed 3rd in number sense and 2nd in calculator and advances to state for both events!
The TL group represented us well!

Sam Chesnut Luke Gesse and Gary Pardini. They qualified for the State Championship Bass Tournament on Lake Belton in May….. Finishing 30th out of 267 boats on a tough Regional day at Lake Palestine.
Shout out to Walker Woodard, Will Martin and boat captain Mike Martin who fished hard all day at Regionals, but were unable to qualify for state.
