Did you know that every 6th grade Husky belongs to one of our five special Houses? Each house has its own name, color, symbol, and character trait.

Eta House (H): Honor; House Color: Red
Upsilon House (U): Unity; House Color: Yellow
Sigma House (S): Service; House Color: Blue
Kappa House (K): Kindness; House Color: Green
PSI House (Y): Positivity: House Color: Teal

Why the House System?
Community Building. Sixth grade is a big change, and it can be rattling to move to middle school. Our House System creates an instant family for our students, where we grow together, learn together, and celebrate together. We are the Pack!
Character Building. Over the course of middle school, our Huskies are developing vital skills that will help them become the leaders of tomorrow. Our Houses focus on character traits that support social-emotional development. Be a Better You!
Student Incentives. Giving students rewards for their efforts suggests that their hard work is appreciated. This is a powerful mindset to have in the classroom and promotes feelings of pride, which goes hand-in-hand with happiness. Celebrate Success!

House Cup
Our students will earn points for individual incentives and house awards. Every nine weeks, we celebrate the winning house and culminate the year by awarding the house cup to the house that wins overall.

Kappa House 6th graders won a silent disco experience, because they had the most Live School points for the nine weeks. Points are obtained for behavior, service, and participation. Great job Kappa House! We look forward to rewarding a new group this new nine weeks!
