ECHS Seniors and families, Yesterday was amazing at TJC and next week will continue to be. Tuesday is graduation practice. All Seniors need to be at ECHS no later than 9:15 so we can travel by bus to Tyler High for practice. Do not drive your own vehicle there please. Thursday is ECHS graduation day. Doors open for guests at 6:15 and Seniors should be there at that time as well to prepare and line up. PLEASE refrain from bringing balloons or noisemakers of any kind to graduation. It is important that this be adhered to due to facilities concerns and sound sensitivities as the event is live. Also, a clear bag policy is being enforced for the safety of all, pls see the TISD website for specifics. Entrance for guests will be through the main varsity gym entryway. Get excited! We are so very proud of and for you all.

The freshman student of the month is Amy Serrato. Her teachers say Amy always does her best whether she is working independently or as part of a group. She is prepared for all assignments and tests. She is kind and respectful. Her quiet demeanor may sometimes make her slip under the radar, but when it is time to speak up she does. She exemplifies everything there is about being an Owl. #WatchUsSoar

The senior student of the month is Sydney Celis. Her teachers say she consistently tutors for AVID 1 this year. While tutoring she gives great feedback to students and helps the Freshmen grow and get better at the AVID Tutorial process. She is also an excellent student, always working to get her work done on time and keep her grades up. #WatchUsSoar

Biology & US History EOCs are tomorrow (5/3) for students in Algebra 1 and US History (those who didn't test Tuesday). 10th graders who normally go to TJC for math on Mon/Wed should as they already took their EOC, unless you were absent Tuesday. Emails were sent to all US History students with their test date & room assignment, so please check your email or message Mr. Haas with any questions. Please bring your Chromebook charged, with charger to school tomorrow. Students can bring a quiet snack and drink with a lid. Also, students can bring something to read or do after they finish that does not involve electronics. Please get a good night's rest and a good breakfast in the morning (free at school). Campus will be closed tomorrow, so no outside orders or students leaving campus for lunch.
