Don't forget, Twin Day tomorrow!
Go Gold Week continues at ECHS. Today we stomp out cancer as we continue to take donations for children fighting cancer!

The first Booster Club meeting of the year is today, Tuesday 9/12, at 5:30 PM in the ECHS Cafeteria. Students of parents who attend will receive a "Drop your lowest grade" pass for any High School class. Hope to see you there!
Please remember, for the safety and security of all, to follow these precautions:
1. Wear your badge in a place where your face in the picture is visible at all times
2. Refrain from opening outside doors for others
3. Enter and exit through the front and back doors ONLY
4. NEVER leave a door propped open
5. Keep classroom doors locked at all times
Thank you
If you still haven't picked up chocolate or paid $120; please do so. As we have said many times, this fund raiser is non-negotiable for all ECHS students each year to help offset the cost of testing for all students. If there is an urgent reason why a student cannot participate and sell their 2 boxes, they need to speak with Mrs. Hortman. The last day for the competition for those who want to win the gift cards is September 29! If you have already taken chocolate, we have to have the money by that date as well. Thank you for your help!
Check your TJC emails for an email from Barnes and Nobles with codes for TJC Math classes!!! After 6 PM tonight!

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Month - Mrs. Walker. Her fellow teachers say she has hit the ground running with Chemistry with labs and group work that is both engaging and challenging. She is gung-ho with AVID strategies and has spearheaded our PALs program to better help our students become successful in their high school and college courses.

Congratulations to our Freshman Student of the Month - Faith Page. Her teachers say Faith has entered ECHS and fit right in. Always greeting visitors with a smile to Ms. Kinkade's class, trailblazing as one of the sole girls in Mr. A's soccer club, lugging his bags around, and willing to help her classmates. Faith is truly showing what it is to be an OWL in just her first weeks on campus. Coming from Birdwell Faith is already gearing up to use her Spanish abilities as a PAL.
