The UT Tyler Honors College provides an enriched academic environment for intellectually driven and high-achieving students. Honors students engage in small, seminar-style core courses, interdisciplinary curriculum, independent research, and senior capstone projects that enhance their academic experience. They also benefit from mentorship by faculty, leadership development opportunities, and a close-knit cohort of peers with similar academic goals.

Tyler ISD Superintendent Dr. Marty Crawford praised the scholarship recipients, saying, β€œWe are incredibly proud of these students and the dedication they have shown throughout their academic careers. Their success reflects not only their hard work and perseverance, but also the strength of the opportunities and support systems within Tyler ISD. They are well-prepared to thrive at UT Tyler and beyond.”

This scholarship marks an important milestone for each student as they continue their academic journey, preparing for leadership roles and careers in their chosen fields. Tyler ISD congratulates these students on their remarkable accomplishments and well-deserved recognition.
