Students celebrate dot day by dressing up in dot themed outfits.

Caldwell Arts Academy celebrated International Dot Day with a day full of creativity, self-expression, and plenty of dots! Students and staff joined in the fun by dressing up in their best dot-themed outfits, turning the school into a colorful celebration of circles and creativity.

From polka dots to colorful patterns, our students showed their creativity through their clothing choices. It was wonderful to see everyone participating and bringing their own unique style to the celebration. The day provided a fun opportunity for students to express themselves and show that creativity can come in many different forms.

Dot Day is inspired by The Dot, a beloved children's book by Peter H. Reynolds. The story encourages children to make their mark, be creative, and have the courage to see what they can accomplish. These ideas made Dot Day a natural fit for our school community.

In addition to dressing up, some of our classes incorporated dots into their classroom lessons. Teachers found creative ways to use dots as part of learning activities, giving students an opportunity to connect the celebration with their classroom work. Whether students were creating, learning, solving problems, or simply finding new ways to use dots, the activities encouraged them to think creatively and have fun while learning.

International Dot Day reminds us that everyone has the ability to make their own mark. Sometimes, a simple dot can be the beginning of something much bigger!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make International Dot Day at Caldwell Arts Academy a fun and memorable celebration!
