TAEA Texas Art Education Association

Tyler ISD is proud to announce that four student artists had their work selected for the prestigious Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) 2025 txEDCON Exhibition, held during the Texas Association of School Administrators and Texas Association of School Boards (TASA/TASB) Convention in Houston, September 11–14, 2025.

The following students represented Tyler ISD with their artwork:

The exhibition showcased works from Pre-K through 12th-grade students across Texas, celebrating creativity, skill, and the power of visual arts education. Displayed in the George R. Brown Convention Center exhibit hall, the collection highlighted the talents of young artists from multiple districts statewide.

β€œI am proud of our students for their outstanding achievements in the arts,” said Tyler ISD Visual & Performing Arts Director Luke Dean. β€œTheir creativity, dedication, and hard work stood out among many entries, earning them well-deserved recognition by the Texas Art Educators Association. Congratulations to these young artists for representing their schools and our district with excellence and imagination!”

The TAEA Exhibition reflects the ongoing commitment of Texas schools to encourage artistic expression and provide meaningful opportunities for students to showcase their work. By supporting these exhibitions, TAEA promotes the importance of student art in fostering creativity and community engagement.
