Ms. Paetzel also attended the 2022 DKG Ignite: Leaders Empowering Leaders Program. The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International (DKG), a professional organization of women educators,  invited 21 participants, including Ms. Paetzel, to attend the week-long program. This program, a custom-designed training in collaboration with DKG and The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, provides learning experiences that develop leadership, communication, and management skills.

Participants represent the international membership of the Society and reflect a diversity of disciplines, professional levels, and life experiences. This experience promotes women educators' personal and professional growth, impacting education worldwide.

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was founded in 1929 with a current membership of more than 50,000 women educators.

Ms. Paetzel has been a member of the Zeta Gamma Chapter of DKG since 2005.
