Congratulations to Armani Beltran, 5th grade student at Jones Elementary School, for being named the District Elementary Student of the Month for January.
Armani stands out as a leader even when others around him may not be the best example. He follows through on all of his assignments and has a talent for art.
"I love to paint and create. I want to be an artist someday," Armani said.

The Tyler ISD District Students of the Month each receive a certificate and medal, sponsored by Texas Bank and Trust.
Students are nominated by their teachers and/or school principal and are recognized for their excellence in many areas, including academics, leadership, campus and community involvement. These outstanding qualities lead to successful student outcomes both in and outside of the classroom.
