elementary age students dressed in unique clothing representative of Hispanic Heritage

Birdwell Dual Language Immersion School students got out of their seats and into the hallway for a campus-wide dance celebration this week. Students and staff dressed in unique clothing in observance of Hispanic Heritage Month.

“Our Campus Instructional Leadership Team created this impactful idea. It is a way to celebrate that involves all students and staff,” Coordinator of Elementary Programming and Interim Principal Gretchen Nabi said. “Teachers on campus also had students decorate their classroom doors and the PTA will judge their creative displays.”
