Early voting is now open through October 30 for voters to cast a ballot in the November 3, 2020 General Election. Be sure to check out the following resources to help you prepare to cast your vote.
Be an Informed Voter
The presidential race is just one of many opportunities for voters to choose their elected representatives. There are local, state, and federal elections that happen in May and November, with occasional runoff elections that happen in between. Be sure to look at sample ballots prior to voting so you will know what is on the ballot for the election.
Vote Early
Early voting is always the best way to avoid lines, and you can vote at seven polling locations across Smith County. The early voting period runs from Tuesday, October 13 to Friday, October 30.
Voter ID Requirements
Be sure to bring an acceptable form of photo identification with you to the polls.
