The Records Management Office serves the district by tracking all Tyler ISD records (administrative & campuses records) from their creation to their disposal. While maintaining Tyler ISD records, the staff researches the information and retrieves records for departments, schools, and the public as needed. Tyler ISD has adopted retention schedules provided for compliance by the Texas Library and Archives Commission, see Record Retention.
The Records Management Office handles all Public Information Requests, Student Records requests, Transcript Requests, as well as subpoenas and depositions by written questions (Court Orders, Subpoenas & DWQ's). Yolonda Moore, Records Management/Public Information Officer, is designated as Custodian of Records for all district and student records.
