April 2 β Paraprofessional Appreciation Day
Today marks a special occasion where we honor the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our classrooms vibrant and supportive. On this Paraprofessional Appreciation Day, I find myself reflecting on the immense impact that Tammy Hambric and Kierra Mallard have on our school community.
Tammy, with her constant enthusiasm and infectious energy, embodies the essence of the Upbeat Award. Her presence alone lifts spirits and inspires all who are around her. She brings a level of positivity that is simply unmatched, and it is a joy to watch her work with the students, creating an environment full of hope and laughter.
Kierra, on the other hand, exemplifies the calm, steady reassurance that is the hallmark of the Easy Going Award. Her gentle nature and flexibility make her a calming force in the classroom, helping students navigate their day with ease and confidence. She knows exactly when to step in and when to give space, always ensuring that every student feels heard and supported.
To show my gratitude, I gave them both small tokens of appreciationβreminders of how much they are loved and valued. Their contributions to our classroom are immeasurable, and I am thankful every day for their hard work and unwavering support. Today, I celebrate them, but truly, every day is a celebration of all they do for our students, our school, and me. π
