Teacher of the Month:
Frankie Granberry is the founder of the women’s track at Tyler High and is the assistant Powerlifting coach and the head Cross Country coach. She is the PE department chair and a member of the CPOC. She works so hard in many areas behind the scenes that no one sees. She is student-centered, supportive, and encouraging. She holds students accountable and guides them to make better decisions. Coach Granberry has been a part of Tyler High for more than 30 years. She has been a very loyal teacher to our community. She is a pleasure to work with on and off campus.
Admin of the Month:
Justin Simmons is one of our Assistant Principals and in charge of the Seniors. He is always willing to help and take care of business. Mr. Simmons has proven himself as a valuable resource on campus. “If I ever have a question about how to do something he is one of the key people on campus that I can turn to. He makes work enjoyable, but also sends the message that we have a campus to serve. I enjoy being around him and it is a pleasure to lock arms with him daily.” Simmons is a leader among all of the staff, students, and parents.
