Tyler ISD is set to celebrate more than 1,100 graduates at its high schools from May 16, through May 18, 2024. The Class of 2024 from Early College High School, RISE Academy, Tyler High School, and Tyler Legacy High School will each hold graduation ceremonies.

The graduating class has received more than $19 million in college scholarships. These hardworking students plan to attend various colleges, technical schools, and military branches.

Superintendent Dr. Marty Crawford commends the 2024 seniors for their diligent efforts. "I am immensely proud of our graduating students for achieving such a remarkable sum in scholarships," Dr. Crawford expressed. "This figure underscores the perseverance of these students and the unwavering backing they've received from educators, leaders, and families. It's a testament to Tyler ISD's ongoing pledge to foster student success."

The scholarship data is self-reported by seniors to their high school counselor up to the last day of school. Additionally, scholarship money continues to be awarded during the summer months. As a result, the number of scholarships offered will likely exceed the $19 million reported so far.
