Our campus has been awarded a grant through the Texas Education Agency (TEA) that promises to bring creativity and innovation to our community. STEAM - Science, Engineering, Technology, Arts, & Mathematics

Through our partnerships with the Innovation Collaborative and the Institute of Creativity Empowering Education Success Foundation (ICEE), the Curious Museum will be visiting our campus on January 18, Thursday 6:00 PM. Curious Museum is a STEAM museum that promotes classroom content engagement, learning, and higher-level thinking. It integrates the sciences and arts in exhibits and in field trips to promote important creative thinking skills. The categories of TEKS covered in the museum exhibits are: forces and motion, electricity and magnetism, light and color, Earth and space, changes in Earth landforms, the chemistry of smell, and geometry


All T. J. Austin parents and families will be invited to learn and experience STEAM as our students kick off their STEAM projects.
