The 2022 RISE Academy Graduation Ceremony - EPIC SUCCESS!!
To a packed crowd at Tyler High School Auditorium, RISE Academy's Principal, Dr. Dexter Floyd, presented 100 seniors as candidates for graduation {8 were a part of the 2023 graduation cohort but graduated in 2022. In addition, 83% graduated with 26 credits with an endorsement, and most graduated at the Distinguished Level of Achievement} to Tyler ISD Superintendent Dr. Marty Crawford.
In his speech to the graduates, Dr. Floyd notes RISE stands for Reaching Individual Student Excellence!
Dr. Crawford recommended the graduates to the Tyler ISD Board of Trustees, and the rest is history!! Dr. Floyd, Dr. Crawford, Mr. Jones, and a photographer greeted and celebrated each graduate as they crossed the stage with their diploma in hand!!
