The Tyler ISD Board of Trustees officially welcomed two newly elected board members during the May board meeting as they were sworn into office and began their service to the district.
Mr. Stephen Hubbard will represent District 2, replacing Artis Newsome, and Dr. Kendra Bircher will represent District 6, replacing Cody Levrets. Both trustees took the oath of office during the meeting alongside returning board members.
The Board of Trustees plays a vital role in supporting student success, setting district priorities, and providing leadership for Tyler ISD schools and the community.
Tyler ISD also extends its appreciation to outgoing trustees Artis Newsome and Cody Levrets for their dedication and service to the district.
