Our Peete Wildcats came together for an unforgettable evening filled with culture, music, traditions, and community spirit!
Each grade level celebrated Hispanic heritage through a special performance. Pre-K kicked off the celebration with La Bamba, a traditional Mexican song representing joy and unity. Kindergarten performed La Raspa, a lively Mexican folk dance. First grade brought excitement with El Sonidito, showcasing the energy of modern Mexican music. Second grade shared the beautiful song De Colores, celebrating the beauty and diversity of our world. Third grade energized the audience with La Gozadera, a celebration of Latin American unity, while fifth grade performed the Mexican Hat Dance, honoring Mexican traditions.
Following the performances, families gathered to share delicious traditional dishes, creating a wonderful opportunity to connect and celebrate our diverse cultures.
The evening concluded with a beautiful traditional Venezuelan dance performance, giving our Wildcats a glimpse into another rich Hispanic culture.
