Your hometown school district celebrates Black History Month

Join us this month as we celebrate Black History Month throughout the district! This year's celebration promises to be a truly enriching experience for everyone involved.

Each year, our campuses recognize and honor Black History Month through various campus and community events that promise to educate, entertain, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of African Americans. From performances to educational showcases, our students and staff are taking this month to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Black culture. Through these events, we embrace the opportunity to honor the accomplishments and contributions of Black Americans to society.

As the Tyler ISD community comes together to celebrate Black History Month, it is a time to reflect on the past, appreciate the present, and look forward to the future. As we honor Black History Month, let us not only commemorate the struggles and triumphs of the past but also embrace the diversity that enriches our present and shapes our future. Join us in this celebration of heritage, knowledge, and unity.
