What an exciting day at our campus!
Tyler ISD Foundation and Grants for Great Ideas came to the campus to give the grants to staff members. You could hear the band, excitement and cheers throughout the halls as the students and teachers alike celebrated a new step of excitement for learning in new inventive ways.
Mrs. Walker received her grant for Books to Blueprints: Inspiring the Next Generation of STEM Thinkers and Inventors, Ms. Wasik received her grant for Brick-by-Brick Color-Coded Syntax, Mrs. Fowler and Mrs. Boyd received their grant for Adventure Awaits: Immersive Learning Kits for Every Classroom and Principal Mrs. Baker received her grant for Synergy Station: named Habit 6- where teamwork and leadership create energy and excitement.
Congratulations to each teacher and staff member that received a grant! Just another reason why Tyler ISD and Owens Elementary really is the best.
