Moore Middle School eighth graders took learning beyond the classroom today with an exciting and educational visit to Pounds Field Regional Airport for AirFest!
Students had the opportunity to meet pilots and flight crews, experience a 4D flight simulation, and tour airplanes on an active airstrip. The hands-on experience gave students an up-close look at the aviation industry while introducing them to the many career pathways available in the field.
From exploring aircraft to experiencing the thrill of flight simulation, students gained valuable insight into the skills, training, and opportunities involved in aviation. The visit encouraged students to think about future careers and discover how classroom learning can connect to real-world experiences.
A special thank-you to Camp V for providing this incredible educational opportunity for our students! Experiences like AirFest inspire curiosity, expand horizons, and help students imagine what is possible for their futures.
