The graduating seniors of Tyler Legacy High School’s Class of 2026 were honored in a heartfelt awards ceremony held this week. The event celebrated the remarkable achievements of students as they prepare to take their next steps beyond high school.
The ceremony began with recognition of students who have earned scholarships, showcasing the hard work and dedication that have paved the way for their futures in higher education. AB Honor Roll students were also acknowledged for maintaining consistent academic excellence throughout their high school careers.

In addition to general academic honors, each department presented special awards to students who demonstrated outstanding achievement and passion in their specific content areas. From science and mathematics to the fine arts and CTE, these awards highlighted the diverse talents and dedication of Tyler Legacy's student body.
Principal Sherman took the stage to present the distinguished Principal’s Awards, honoring students who exemplify the values of Tyler Legacy. Awards were given for Red Raider Spirit, Red Raider Pride, Red Raider Heart, and Red Raider Excellence — each representing a different pillar of the school’s character and culture.
One of the most anticipated moments of the evening was the crowning of Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Legacy, a recognition given to two seniors who best represent the school’s values, leadership, and Raider pride both in and out of the classroom.
As the Class of 2026 prepares to graduate, the awards ceremony served as a powerful reminder of their hard work, growth, and the bright futures that lie ahead. Congratulations, Red Raiders!
