1st place Hornets at stock market challenge

Tyler Legacy proudly joined one of the nation’s largest financial literacy competitionsβ€”the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challengeβ€”as part of Future Bound by JA, an event designed to inspire students and connect them with limitless opportunities. Future Bound brings together students, educators, and industry leaders to explore hands-on learning experiences, unlock career pathways, and build essential skills for success in an evolving world of work.

The JA Stock Market Challenge is far more than a trading game. It’s a fast-paced, real-time investment simulation where teams apply critical thinking, collaboration, and adaptability while reacting to breaking news, analyzing market trends, and making rapid-fire trading decisions. Success requires financial literacy, strategic planning, and risk managementβ€”all under pressure.

Tyler Legacy students rose to the occasion, earning three of the top five spots, including 1st and 3rd place, and securing 11 positions in the top 30 out of 174 local area teams from schools across our region. This incredible achievement reflects their dedication, teamwork, and ability to thrive in a competitive environment.

There’s even more excitement aheadβ€”our top team may earn a coveted spot in the National JA Stock Market Challenge this summer at Future Bound in Boston. Congratulations to all participants for proving that Tyler Legacy is truly Future Bound!
