What is subjects do you teach? I teach Biology and AP Environmental Science
Do you sponsor any clubs? Eco Club
How long have you been teaching? I taught for a couple of years in Oklahoma before I moved to Texas, and I've been at Legacy for 20 years.
What is your favorite thing about Legacy? What I love most about Legacy is the community. I get to work alongside colleagues who I not only admire but also truly enjoy—people who cheer me on, challenge me, and walk with me through all the ups and downs of teacher life. And then there are my students, who are the heartbeat of it all. I love getting to know each of them, watching them learn, grow, and step into who they’re becoming right before my eyes.
Fun Fact(s)?I did finish my master’s in school counseling last spring, but the truth is—I’m just not ready to leave this amazing science family and the joy I find in our classroom community. Fun fact about me: I lived in Russia for a year after I graduated from OU.
