After several engaging days of designing, cutting, sanding, painting, weighting, and testing, Tyler ISD CTC students were able to race in the 2026 CTC Derby Competition. Several heats during every period took place to determine the top 2 fastest cars, as well as the best designed car. Students won prizes and learned about physics, aerodynamics, and design during this great end-of-year competition. Thank you Mr. Dietzel, Mr. Johnson, and Mr. McClenny for keeping student engagement a top priority at the CTC.
