The hallways of Boulter Middle School were filled with excitement and fresh energy today as students returned for the first day of school, marking the beginning of a transformative new chapter for the campus.
This school year, Boulter is launching Tyler ISD's new Accelerating Campus Excellence (ACE) Model, an innovative approach designed to accelerate student achievement by investing in exceptional educators, strengthening instruction, and providing students with the resources they need to succeed.

The ACE Model places highly effective teachers and leaders on campus while creating a collaborative learning environment focused on academic growth, meaningful relationships, and student success. Through increased support, strategic staffing, and high-quality instruction, the model aims to ensure every student has access to an outstanding educational experience.
Principal Nathan Harbour said the first day represents more than just the start of a new school year; it marks the beginning of an exciting opportunity for students and staff.
"Today is the start of something special for our students, families, and staff," Harbour said. "The ACE Model gives us the opportunity to build on our strengths while providing additional support and resources that will help every student reach their full potential. We are committed to creating a culture of excellence where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to succeed every day."

Throughout the day, students met their teachers, explored their classrooms, and became familiar with the campus while staff worked to create a welcoming and encouraging environment from the moment they arrived.
As the school year begins, Boulter Middle School is embracing its new role as an ACE campus with a focus on high expectations, strong relationships, and academic excellence. With dedicated educators, engaged families, and a shared commitment to student achievement, the campus is poised for a successful year ahead.
