Ms. Valle Rodríguez brings with her nearly eight years of prior service at Birdwell, where she built strong, lasting relationships with students, staff, and families. Returning to Birdwell felt like coming home, as she credits the school’s welcoming culture and unwavering commitment to student success as reasons it has always held a special place in her heart.
As a first-generation student herself, Ms. Valle Rodríguez understands firsthand the challenges many students and families face when navigating the school system while balancing language and cultural differences. This lived experience fuels her dedication to supporting bilingual and first-generation communities and ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and empowered.
Birdwell’s emphasis on inclusion, equity, and community connection strongly aligns with her values. She believes the dual language program is especially vital, as it honors students’ cultural identities while helping them develop strong academic skills in two languages. Supporting dual language education also strengthens family engagement, helping parents feel more connected and confident in their child’s educational journey.
