Students smiling with leadership cards

Bell Elementary School transformed into a hub of excitement and learning as it hosted a Leadership Night for students and their families. The event, held on Thursday, January 25th, aimed to foster a sense of leadership among students and provide valuable insights into the 7 Habits of Leadership.

Throughout the night, families engaged in various activities that not only entertained but also imparted essential leadership principles. The focal point of the evening was the exploration of the renowned "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey, adapted for children as the "7 Habits of Leadership."

Parents and students moved through interactive stations, each dedicated to one of the habits. From "Be Proactive" to "Sharpen the Saw," participants had the opportunity to understand and practice these habits in a lively and engaging manner.

One popular station featured a team-building exercise, encouraging students to work together to solve challenges and reinforce the habit of "Think Win-Win." Another station focused on "Synergize," where families collaborated on creative projects to underscore the power of teamwork.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the aroma of delicious food wafted through the air. The goal was to create an environment where families could bond, have fun, and, most importantly, apply the leadership principles they had learned.

As the night drew to a close, families left Bell Elementary School with smiles on their faces, carrying not just fond memories of a fun-filled evening but also a renewed commitment to fostering leadership skills within the school and the community.
