Our students had an unforgettable day filled with hands-on learning, exciting discoveries, and fun farm adventures! They had the opportunity to experience what life on a farm is like while exploring animals, farming equipment, and farm life through interactive activities.
One of the biggest highlights of the day was getting up close and personal with horses! Students loved riding, petting, and leading a horse. They also enjoyed meeting a variety of farm animals, including baby pigs, cows, goats, and a pony. These special experiences allowed students to learn about animals in a fun and memorable way.
The excitement continued as students got the chance to touch and even “drive” a tractor! This hands-on experience gave them a glimpse into the important role farm equipment plays in everyday farming.
Inside the library, the learning continued with dramatic play activities. Students pretended to be farmers as they explored a barn and farmers market, using their imaginations to bring farm life to life.
We were also excited to welcome our community partner, Brookshires, who treated students to a delicious sample of fresh cotton candy grapes!
It was truly a wonderful day of exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning. Our students made special memories while experiencing the many exciting parts of farm life!
