I am excited about another great year of seeing our students exceed expectations here at the Wayne D. Boshears Center for Exceptional Programs. We are the Boshears Bees, where we Build community, Embrace individuality, Empower communication, and Support Independence for all students.

The Boshears Center is a self-contained program that offers special education services to students ages 3-21, and is part of the continuum of services provided by Tyler ISD.  Students attend the Boshears Center because of the severity of their disabilities and the support necessary to meet their individual needs, as determined by the Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee. 

We encourage you to explore our website and let us know how we can share information and strategies, as well as any other type of support, which will assist you in parenting your child. It is an honor to be part of the Boshears Center and serve each of you in my capacity as Director. It is my goal to join with you as we strive to achieve goals and exceed expectations for the future.
