Tyler ISD Foundation is proud to announce the awarding of $95,000 in scholarships to 54 Tyler ISD graduating seniors — the largest scholarship award amount distributed in a single academic year in the history of the organization. The annual scholarship program is a powerful reflection of the Foundation’s mission to provide resources that create life-changing opportunities for Tyler ISD students as they pursue higher education and future career goals.
The Foundation reviews applications holistically, recognizing the unique experiences, achievements, leadership, and aspirations of each student. This year, the Foundation received scholarship applications from nearly 200 students districtwide, and scholarship committee members enjoyed learning about the outstanding accomplishments and inspiring stories of each applicant throughout the review process.
Tyler ISD Foundation Executive Director Suzette Farr said, “We are incredibly grateful for our generous community partners and donors who continue to invest in the future of Tyler ISD students through these established scholarships. Awarding the largest scholarship amount in our organization’s history is a tremendous milestone and speaks volumes about the strength and generosity of our community. These students represent the next generation of leaders, educators, professionals, and changemakers, and we are honored to help support them as they begin their next chapter.”
