Golfers hit the green, supporting Tyler ISD Foundation and the Foundation’s mission to fund programs that enhance education and prepare Tyler ISD students for the future. Returning Golf Classic Co-Chairs Patrick McArthur and Patrick Woods welcomed players to Hollytree Country Club for a beautiful day of golf for a great cause. This year's Golf Classic kicked off with a community luncheon with Dr. Marty Crawford, Tyler ISD Superintendent of Schools, as the keynote speaker.
This year’s Golf Classic raised more than $60,000, and all proceeds will be invested in Tyler ISD’s teachers and students through innovative classroom grants and the Tyler ISD Foundation's Care Closets.
