Jr. Historians are Giving & Receiving

Moore’s Jr. Historians spent Wednesday, February 14th being blessed and blessing others. In September of 2017, the Jr. Historian Campus Organization began collecting items for a Valentine visit to Clairmont Nursing Home.  Over the next five months various members prepared the gift bags with black, red, and white ribbons. In each bag, Clairmont residents received chips, chocolates, hard candies, and bottled water. Because of each historians diligence, the 90 residents at Clairmont  were able to receive a gift of love from Moore MST Magnet School. Prior to visiting the Clairmont Nursing Home, Jr. Historians were treated to a movie, popcorn, candy, and a beverage of their choice at Times Square Theater.  After leaving the theater, Junior Historians had lunch and spend time playing games at Cici’s pizza.

The Junior Historian trip, letters to soldiers, thank you notes to veterans, and love shown to Clairmont  was financed by the Junior Historian, December dance. Therefore, the Junior Historians would like to thank students, parents, staff, and faculty who supported their endeavors .
