After School Clubs

  • Literacy Club

MISSION: Learn to read and have fun!

Literacy Club is for Kindergarten and first grade students at Jack Elementary. Club meetings take our youngest students on adventures through literature, enhancing their reading and writing skills. Contact a Kindergarten or first grade teacher for more information about Literacy Club.

    Math Club

MISSION: To understand, solve, and do math!

Math Club is open to all students in second and third grades. Our goal is to encourage strong math skills by providing opportunities for children to engage in logical reasoning and critical thinking. During meetings children will participate in a variety of activities that are fun, yet involve higher level processing skills. Students should be prepared to "burn their brains" and get excited about math! Contact a second or third grade teacher for more information about Math Club.

    Science Club

    MISSION: Exploring, Imagining, Experimenting

Dr. Jack’s Science Club is open to all students in fourth and fifth grades.  The club provides an avenue through which members may explore science beyond the classroom.  We seek to encourage participation in science related activities and to instill values that reflect appreciation and understanding of science as it relates to life.  Science Club offers a fun opportunity to explore, investigate and learn how the world works.  During meetings, students will experiment with a variety of short-term activities as well as observing organisms that live in and around the campus. Contact a fourth or fifth grade teacher for more information about Science Club.
