This is a group of auditioned students that represent Clarkston Elementary School at community events, PTA meetings and music related field trips. Our singers perform a wider selection of music including holiday and patriot songs, folk songs and show-stopper show tunes. Students develop their music skills, enjoy the excitement of performing and have a great deal of fun along the way. Students in third, fourth, and fifth may audition for this ensemble in the early fall. Clarkston Chorale meets on Thursdays from 3:00 - 3:45 in the music room.
This club is currently open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Students are encouraged to think outside the box to create and find solutions to different challenges. Students willl use science, technology, engineering, and math along with higher level thinking skills to complete different activities. We use our campus iPads and computers, Legos, circuits, and everyday materials. This club meets on Mondays from 3:00 - 3:45 in the library. We are hopeful to expand this club
to our youngest learners as well.
3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are invited to participate in different lunch time book clubs offered through the library. Mrs. Zea advertises the book on the Library Media webpage and students can sign up for the books they are interested in. Together, we read a book and discuss it with each other - the way a real book club works. This voluntary activity will also be open to 2nd graders in the Spring semester. If you would like to host a books club with students, please contact Mrs. Agan and complete the Tyler ISD volunteer application.

This class is free. Students are welcome with an accompanying adult or parent. We offer a 10 week session each semester. Check the Clarkston homepage for more specific dates.
