Degrees and Certifications:

Amanda Narcisi

¡Hola!  I am Amanda Narcisi and I am a Spanish 1 teacher at John Tyler High School. I am originally from New Jersey and moved to East Texas last year. I taught Spanish 1 at Westwood High School in Palestine previously and moved to Tyler the beginning of August 2018. I graduated from West Virginia University with my Bachelors degree in Spanish in 2008. I have taught every grade Pre-K through 10th and this is my 6th year of teaching. Teaching is my number one passion by far but I also cook, ride horses, compete in country swing dancing, kickbox, travel and love to sky dive.

I beleive in inspiring my students to learn by creative, hands-on, project based teaching. You will rarely see me sitting at my desk. My classes are full of color, music, art, videos and dancing! I believe in ALL of my students even if they dont beleive in themselves, I GOT YOU! I am always open to suggestions for class, please be involved, this is YOUR class. I am so incredibly excited to see all the amazing things we are going to accomplish this year!

My classroom is in B12.

I am also assisting coaching soccer this year so I am not sure about my schedule or tutorial hours but as soon as I do I will let you know.
