My name is Brittany Garrard and I am beyond excited to be the new assistant principal at Andy Woods Elementary. I have been working in education for ten years. I have taught 1st and 2nd grades and I was a school counselor for 5 years at Cain Elementary in Whitehouse, Texas. I was an assistant principal at Neches Elementary/Jr. High for one year and I am now blessed to be a part of the Wrangler family. I have a bachelor's degree from Texas State University in Family and Child Development. I have a Master's degree from University of Texas at Tyler in School Counseling and I also have my principal certification. I am passionate about working with children and families and trying to make a difference in their lives. I strive to motivate each child to reach their potential and instill in each student a love for learning. Most of all I am dedicated to making each child's learning experience enjoyable and exciting!
