Miss Regina Cooper
Hello and welcome to my page!
This is my 5th year teaching the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students of Tyler ISD. This year I will have 2nd-5th grade Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies.
I started my career at Clarkston in 2016 while working with 5th grade DHH students. Then I moved to Kinder-2nd and also spent some time at Robert E. Lee High School as an Inclusion support teacher. Following that, I spent two years at Moore Middle School. I am excited to return to Clarkston so that I can help build a strong foundation for learning!
Prior to teaching, I served the DHH students of Tyler ISD as a Sign Language Interpreter for a year and a half.
My Educational background:
I attended Tyler Junior College where I received two Associate’s degrees in Elementary Education (2011) and Sign Language Interpreting (2014). From there I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education in December of 2015.
Conference: Daily 2:10-3:05pm
