5th Grade, Reading & Social Studies

Room 214

Welcome to 5th Grade! I am a 2016 graduate from The University of Texas at Tyler. This is my second year to teach 5th grade as part of the Bell Bear family. I am looking forward to flourishing in fifth as we grow leaders and readers at Bell Elementary.

"To really lead is to grow more leaders -- and to shine a light on people's gifts and talents." - Robin Sharma

Philosophy of Education

“Teach them well and let them lead the way.” I believe that my role as an educator is to illuminate the beauty and strength of each child’s individuality, by encouraging personal and community growth. Growth that begins in the classroom, by instilling a leadership mindset, and will pour into all other aspects of a child's life. I believe each student should be afforded the opportunity to find their voice, as they are empowered to reach their individual potential.
