DAEP Orientation Information
DAEP Dress Code - students must adhere to the dress code while attending DAEP.
DAEP orientation will be held for parents AND students each weekday afternoon at 4:15 P.M. The gate to enter the orientation room opens at 4:00 P.M Both the student and a parent/guardian must attend the orientation. Students arriving late to orientation will not be admitted and will have to return the next day to attend orientation. Please be aware that the DAEP location is 1501 West Connally Street, Tyler, TX 75701. This is the old Peete Elementary School building. The mission of the Discipline Alternative Education Program (DAEP) is to create a positive, nurturing, and structured environment that will foster the development of appropriate social behavior, values and academic success. We will achieve our mission by building positive relationships through ongoing communication with students, families, Tyler ISD schools and the community.
To maintain a comprehensive program that facilitate the learning of every student assigned to our campus.
As a team, we will teach self-discipline while encompassing academic excellence.
